About TTXTech

TTXTech builds digital infrastructure for verifiable ESG, climate, product, and supply-chain data. The company’s core platform, SDEVI, turns operational data and events into structured digital evidence that can be traced, reviewed, and connected across systems.

The engineering work behind this is practical: backend services, workflow logic, integrations, infrastructure, and evidence handling. We are a small team in Passau, currently around ten people, working closely with product, backend, and external partners.

Role summary

We are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and run the cloud and service backbone behind our products and internal systems. This role covers Docker-based workloads, IAM, monitoring, CI/CD, environment setup, and operational reliability across Azure and Hetzner. It is broader than classic admin work, but narrower and more concrete than generic platform talk.

What you will work on

  • Runtime environments for product services, backend systems, and selected AI-related workloads
  • Deployment pipelines, release processes, and repeatable environment setup
  • Identity and access management, secrets handling, and operational controls
  • Monitoring, logs, alerts, backups, and service reliability
  • Practical infrastructure decisions across Azure, Hetzner, containers, and automation

Responibilities

  • Build and maintain cloud and hosting environments across Azure and Hetzner.
  • Run and improve Docker-based workloads and the deployment paths around them.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines that reduce manual work and improve release quality.
  • Manage IAM, roles, permissions, and service-to-service access in a controlled way.
  • Improve monitoring, logs, alerting, backup, and recovery readiness.
  • Support engineering teams with stable environments for backend services, web applications, and AI-related systems.
  • Contribute to standards for infrastructure documentation, security basics, and maintainable operations.

What you should bring

  • Hands-on experience with cloud or hosting environments and container-based services.
  • Good working knowledge of Docker, IAM, monitoring, and deployment automation.
  • Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Practical understanding of networking basics, service access, and operational security.
  • Ability to improve structure in an environment that is still being built.
  • Clear communication and a pragmatic approach to operational problems.

Helpful but not required

  • Experience with Azure and Hetzner in the same or a comparable setup.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code or configuration automation.
  • Experience supporting backend or AI-heavy application environments.
  • Experience in a smaller product company where infrastructure choices have visible impact.

What success looks like in the first 6 months

  • Create a clearer and more repeatable deployment path for key services.
  • Improve monitoring and operational visibility for the most important workloads.
  • Tighten IAM and service access in areas where growth would otherwise create risk.
  • Reduce manual infrastructure effort for product and backend teams.

Team and work setup

You report to C-level management and work closely with backend, product, and external partners. The company is currently around ten people, so infrastructure decisions are visible, practical, and directly tied to delivery speed.

What this role is not

  • This is not a helpdesk or end-user support role.
  • This is not a narrow server maintenance role with no design responsibility.
  • This is not a pure compliance documentation role detached from real systems.

Candidate note

Candidates should know that this role is about building a dependable operating base, not about collecting tools. We prefer people who understand trade-offs, document decisions, and can make systems easier to run over time.

We look forward to receiving your detailed application materials (cover letter and resume). Please email them to application[at]ttxtech.eu , indicating your earliest possible start date.
